The Disco Biscuits Detroit Concert reviews
Good Concert
The music seemed short but was great. I don't know if Chrisette was late or if they just put 2000 (800 p.m.) on the ticket for g.p. (general purpose). Ran from approx. 2030 (8:30 p.m.) to 2300 (11 p.m.). I'd got see them again, but not for more than what I paid $77 plus all the fees. Advance parking was a rip off I think, didn't seem as if parking was any better. I paid 22.50 and when I got there it was $20. not a huge difference, but that 2.50 can buy a gallon of gas.
His band was on point. The Disco Biscuits kept it hype, interacted with the fans if you got lucky the you $117 floor seats were worth it, but you had to be in the front. Also, he seemed like he was finished, but ended up coming back and did "Ascension (Don't Ever Wonder)"--nice closing.
Chrisette was great. Voice was so strong, but I think it would have been a little more effective with some background singers esp. for parts like Ne-Yo's in "What You Do". Only had a three piece band, but they jammed.
Glad he's back!! And brought Christte with him.
Almost forgot. Pictures were allowed during Chrisette's performance, but not The Disco Biscuits'.
